The weekend showcased strong performances across all three teams, highlighted by dominant offense, relentless defense, and major ranking jumps.
17 Elite had an outstanding run, finishing 5–1 across 16 sets and climbing from 59 to 33. Amyla Carlton led the charge with 25+ kills, setting the tone with her presence, leadership, and aggressive play. Skyla Martin added even more firepower with 35+ kills, while the defensive unit was anchored by liberos Katie Hathaway and Izabella “Izzy” DeOcampo, who made it nearly impossible for the ball to hit the floor and helped the team average an impressive 2.0 serve receive.
18 Power delivered big numbers and big results, posting a 4–2 record and making a huge jump from 86 to 38. Isabella “Belly” Zhao led all hitters with 44 kills, supported by Chanelrae Mendoza with 31 kills and Natasha “Tashi” Lacuzong, who added 30 kills and 10 blocks, dominating on both sides of the net.
17 Power also had a strong showing, finishing 4–2 and maintaining their seed. Nicole Chavarria shined as an adjustable pin hitter, consistently delivering key kills. Rhea Barrows made her impact felt with long service runs while contributing to the team’s offensive output. Kayhana Magno Castigador excelled as an all-around setter/oppo, leading the team in assists, and Katie Yu anchored the back row with the most digs of the weekend, showcasing relentless hustle and effort.
Overall, it was a strong weekend marked by competitive grit, balanced team contributions, and impressive consistency across all three squads.
